Latest Sports Post: Percy Harvin vs Reggie Bush
Posted: FlaGators @ Wed Aug 27, 2008 1:00 pm
Found this at the Orlando Sentinel. Interesting stuff.

Former USC star Reggie Bush won the 2005 Heisman Trophy with a combination of speed and skill that is rarely witnessed on a football field. Since Percy Harvin's freshman days, his Florida teammates have called him a mini version of Bush because of his similar skills set. Before he fulfills those expectations, Harvin will have to hoist hardware and possibly surpass Bush's 2005 statistics in the process. So, to the tape!

* Harvin practiced today. Spikes did not practice but Meyer said "It's only Tuesday." If either one of them play the GC crew expect them to only participate on a couple of drives and call it a day.

* Urban Meyer really loves this football team. He did not like last year's team and didn't even like the 2006 team at time...

Pumped-up head coach

Urban Meyer is even excited about the prospect of watching the tailbacks play Saturday. And his defensive tackles. And his cornerbacks. This is an indication of just how jacked up Meyer is about his fourth Florida football team.

He's the most positive I've ever seen him heading into a season. It's obvious that Meyer really thinks this team has a chance to be special. The obvious positive v...
